The District 7 Voter Guide

June 16, 2011

Dennis Shingleton is controlled by his Special Interest political consultant, The Election Group, with Chief Strategist, Bryan Eppstein.  What do YOU think will happen if he becomes your next City Council Member?

About Dennis Shingleton’s Paid Political Consultant:

This is an inside job. Eppstein manages campaigns for political candidates who pay him at least twice — once when they run, and again after they get elected. It’s a conflict, but the officeholders are more beholden to Eppstein than they are to you, the voters.” – Publisher Richard Connor, Fort Worth Business Press, Troubled Waters, December 13, 2006.

“The Fort Worth political strategist (Bryan Eppstein) helps elect politicians at every level in town, who turn right around and rubber-stamp his lucrative business deals.” – Texas Watchdog, Einstein? No, Eppstein: Fort Worth Republican plays both sides of the fence, Sep 11, 2008.

Jon Perry Opponent: Dennis Shingleton
Honesty

From Day One Jon Perry has answered all questions as he will when he wins the City Council seat.  No Fluff, Straight Answers and above all committed to all residents, with measurable results.

Honesty?

Mr. Shingleton has titles and special interest endorsements.  But what has he really done?  Ran a dirty campaign.  Waffled on the hard issues. Refused to sign the Code of Fair Campaign Practices.

We have yet to see any tangible evidence that Dennis Shingleton has done anything more than hold meetings. No cost savings for taxpayers. No quality of life improvements for residents. He just holds meetings with impressive city titles attached to them.

Integrity

It takes confidence and guts to run against the establishment and business as usual.  Despite facing enormous physical, health and financial challenges, Jon was able to establish a successful business and still find time to serve our community.

Integrity?

Hired Bryan Eppstein, a well known political consultant and famous for special interests, PAC lobbying and downtown endorsements.  Eppstein’s specialty is to let dirty politics shadow the issues.

Positive

Thousands of District 7 voters are excited to support Jon because he brings a fresh, gutsy and business like approach to the city.  His only special interest is District 7 residents.

Positive?

Dennis Shingleton represents business as usual. This is very positive for special interests in Fort Worth.

Jon Perry is the right change that Fort Worth needs  www.jonperry.biz
